| RE: Aftermarket car air filters The reason why I do not like the newer type filters on those mercs is simple. A6511800109 has o rings to seal filter to filter plastic cover tube, but those o rings can get snatched with installation quite often. I have seen it happen many many times. 7010Z filter has no o ring and those work the best in my opinion.  | |||
