First time buyer O/0

I am first time truck buyer... The third party finance companies are trying to get 50% down payment. I believe this is rape, but I guess you gotta do whatever it takes to get into a higher paying tier bracket.

I'm looking at a t660 with a paccar engine 10 speed manual. The truck is Indiana and I don't know a legit mechanic who can look over it. I was wondering what the three main expensive fixes would be and what to look for, before purchasing? I watched the video with the Cummins, but I didn't notice one with a paccar. Any help would be greatly appreciated, finance and inspection.
