just throwing in some some fyi's...

The general rule on engine/tranny oils is that it is not until you start reaching 230-F and above, is it considered excessive. Just something to consider / keep in mind.

It is also not always desirable to have the oil temp to always be below 200-F, as it is prone to not being able to drive out moisture nearly as well. Oxidation sets in, requiring more frequent oil changes.
