871 code 2312
Been enjoying the ‘mostly troublefree’ experience since completing my inframe last year.

I replaced my ECM with a Cummins reman 1150 hours ago. Reflashed my @m*m^2 into it.

Replaced my pedal position sensor a few weeks ago. Was giving me a lot of errors and cutting boost under certain circumstances. No issues since then.

Today I end up getting a code 2312 (timing actuator driver circuit-condition exists), a CEL and swears as I am headed loaded towards Columbia on 26. It’s intermittent, but constant. The issue is followed by what feels like a random misfire. Quick visual doesn’t show any issues underhood. Turbo and actuator were both done in Griffin about 85k miles ago.

I can’t climb into VA like this so I’m planning on turning back to Savannah and taking it easy. Plan is to resistance check the wiring in the actuator wiring between the pigtail to the ECM for issues and verify proper power and ground. It’s the misfire that concerns me. Even as I type this, it’s randomly missing at idle.

Entire IFSM was built out of new Cummins parts and replaced when I inframed it. No issues until now.

Am I missing anything I should be checking?
