I run a CM570 , idle does get loopy and studers once in a while, I run injector cleaner every’ oil change, Power Service Injector Cleaner gray bottle. I hardly idle’ just to warm up engine.
I get a steady 7.2 mpg, sometimes better or worse due to wind.
