RE: Increasing HorsePower -- What You Need To Know ok, so there was an SCR TSB on the truck and part of that was updating the CPL from 3664 to 4780. Now I need to compare EB90237.8 to EB90222.08 to see if they are compatible. any suggestions?

Program EB90021 is your original program for that engine according to its ser#. The TSB shows EB90237 and a new CPL of CPL4780. Your ECM information/program is correct assuming that you have the updated SCR canister. Might want to check/verify the part# on the SCR element to be sure. ------ As far as comparing EB90237 with EB90222 (looking at 16,484 parameters/settings in the program) ... Literally, the only thing different in the EB90222 program is the higher power/torque. Besides some mundane data-plate options that have no effect on engine, All else is the same. The hard part is finding the material that is the exact thickness you want. More than likely you will have to get your shims then cut block accordingly.

There are some very specific procedures to follow when rebuilding an isx if you want it to be reliable and last, especially if you're looking for big horsepower.
