On the ISX, The info for the head is stamped into the drivers side rear. It shows date of manufacture, etc. and if it is certified reman, it will have a "RX" added to the part number. -- Maybe this helps.

Nah, Brock is talking about his Cat head. He told me about it on the phone one day...
If his suspicions are right, which will be darn near impossible to prove, but with the way things happened it's damn hard not to believe and agree with him, it's an epic case of WTF!
