If someone cranks up the engine and lets it run for a few mins then shuts it off again before it can get warmed up .. The exhaust valves will be "wet looking" when you remove the exhaust manifold, if they are leaky. I guess your question would depend on how bad they get I suppose. It would also depend on if the emissions systems are in place too, as it will cause a DOC/DPF to clog up prematurely.
