Take the coil springs out of pickup and cut them down that will stiffen the front end if needed. Old dirt track trick.

Didnt get much done today.....had to sell my 6-71 Detroit so justify getting the tires. Scored a set of brand new Cokers for $250! I will be getting smoothies for the tires tomorrow at Summit Racing. Got the front tires on. I'm using the police steelies for now. If I dont like them I will bolt on another set of smoothies and run em. I will probably go Cummins Red on the wheels.

Scored a great deal on tires and wheels Got 3 Coker Classics for $300 and two Chevy chrome rallys never been used for $80. This is what the chassis looks like so far. I may drive it like a dragster.......The frame rails are too high and I dont want to double z the frame. Now I have something to occupy my thoughts while driving next week. At least it rolls around. I could put a steering wheel on it right now and drive it off a hill!

Thanks Rawze! When its all done I may drive it down to see ya. I really want to take the old Route 66 path. Always wanted to do it in something like this. Here is a pic of the front bumper I intend to use. A camshaft out of an N14 Cummins

Ripped out the interior of the PT today. Getting it ready for some floor trimming. Soon we shall see what it looks like on the frame.
