Exhaust pipe size It's about time to do the exhaust on the truck. It's got more patches and band clamps than there is pipe just about. Is there a better pipe size to go with, if I have the choice? Any recommendations on mufflers? I'd like it a little louder but definitely not straight pipe loud. Is stainless exhaust worth the investment? RE: Exhaust pipe size I personally don't see a cost to benefit improvement in stainless. As far as mufflers, when I owned a pre emission engine I took the baffled muffler and put a straight through muffler on. It resembled a glass pack inside. No baffles but a lot of noise catchers lining the inside. Had a nice pop with engine brake on and fairly quiet on acceleration.

RE: Exhaust pipe size If your looking for efficiency gains, wrapping the exhaust will help the most. User's Signature: ->: What I post is just my own thoughts and Opinions! --- I AM Full Of S__T!.
