Low boost, higher egt's About a month ago I was driving under heavy load and boost became 20psi max on my pyro gauge. I thought I had boost leak, but on the next day boost came back to 28psi. Then everything was normal till now and It started to act same way 20psi max, egt on pyro gauge 600 flat lands(before was 450-500), hills 700-800(was 600-650 before). My truck has &m^%m%$2 tune , 2350 engine, exhaust back pressure and boost sensors were changed 3 month ago. User's Signature: Cascadia ISX15 CM2350

RE: Low boost, higher egt's Sounds like maybe your turbo actuator might be jumping positions whenever you shut truck off sometimes. When it is acting up, Try shut truck off,.. let it sit for about 80 seconds,.. then start it back up again and go. See if it makes boost act right again. if it does, it is the actuator or turbo acting up. User's Signature: ->: What I post is just my own thoughts and Opinions! --- I AM Full Of S__T!.

RE: Low boost, higher egt's Thanks I will check that. I remember I had this problem time ago when after driving I shut off truck, then had to move my truck like minute later and had maintenance light with actuator code. Then it came back to normal. Now no codes. Maybe I have to remove actuator and do install and calibrate with insite too? User's Signature: Cascadia ISX15 CM2350

RE: Low boost, higher egt's The actuator might be wore out too, it does happen.

RE: Low boost, higher egt's I did calibrate and it passed calibration. Turbo shows 10% at idle. Shutoff 80 seconds and then start still the same. Also tried with another exhaust backpressure sensor. User's Signature: Cascadia ISX15 CM2350

RE: Low boost, higher egt's I guess I will drain coolant tomorrow, remove actuator and inspect turbo like rawze's turbo inspection video. User's Signature: Cascadia ISX15 CM2350

RE: Low boost, higher egt's When I move vg ring left it does not go past the half hole. You can look at the pictures. one picture all the way left another- all the way right. Does that suppose that vg ring stuck?? When I move it moves easy. User's Signature: Cascadia ISX15 CM2350

RE: Low boost, higher egt's I was at cummins dealer today and they show me new turbo without actuator. I moved vg ring gear it moves same travel like mine turbo. So I guess that my turbo is good. But is diifferent design than in 'turbo inspection video' User's Signature: Cascadia ISX15 CM2350
