2013 ISX15 485 check engine and regen flash

I currently drive a 2013 Kenworth T800 with an ISX 15 485 and just recently it started throwing a engine with a wrench in the RPM gauge and flashing the regen symbol and my miles per gallon went down to about three-and-a-half to four when it used to be five to six miles per gallon I force it into a regen last week and I'm currently putting it in a regen now and the code that pops up is particulate trap 1 what should I be looking at here the truck has 327 thousand miles on it.

You will need to get Insite to see what is actually going on. Sounds like the DPF or SCR system is plugged. If you do not have Insite, I would start with the SCR DEF filter, have you changed it or inspected? Or you are face plugged on the DPF filter, has it been removed and cleaned lately? May be a good time to do an EGR Tuneup too... Someone else will chime in that knows more than me...

F it's not my truck if it was I would have torn it apart over the weekend find out what's wrong with it but knowing the owner that stuff has probably never been done and I'm pretty sure that if I told him to have an EGR tune up done on it he probably look at me like I was stupid and probably wouldn't have the EGR tune up done to it anyway. and if it's the same diesel shop he sent it to I mentioned that once before about an EGR tune up and they had no idea what that was

Oh ok. Since i did the regen this morning it has not come up. However the yellow engine with the wrench is still lit. I did notice when i shut the truck off that the def pump at the tank was making noise for about 20 seconds then shut off. I cycled the key and the pump.made noise then got quiet and was still pumping so i dont know whats going on with that. But fuel mileage is struggling at 3.9 to 4.2.

Got in the truck this morning the engine with the wrench is still on but the DPF light is not blinking if it continues to give problems and bring up the particulate trap 1 code do you think just doing an EGR tune up will help as the truck does regen successfully when put into a forced Regen

So i removed the imap sensor and it was completely plugged. I couldnt see through it. I cleared it out with a brush and reinstalled it. Tge engine light has gone out I don't know if the fuel mileage will increase yet right now I'm at 4 MPG and I used to be sitting at 5.5 when I was put in this truck 2 years ago. Is there anything else I can do or clean that will only take a couple minutes as I am trying to do this without the owner being involved.
