That would be a long ways to send it on a hook.

RE: Another oil pressure thread
Pulled all the rods out of the way this week and it’s worse than the cheap plastigauge set indicated.
With a proper measuring tool two rod journals were over .007 and two were over .008. I believe four rod journals being over .007 under size is sufficient to cause dramatic oil pressure lose.
Time to pull the crank and get it turned.010 under and get appropriate rod bearings.

The shoddy work people do today and pass off as good work astounds me.

That's why doing your own work saves you so much more than a shop bill. Even good shops will never take as much care as you take with your own equipment. And good shops are few and far between.

Evidently the computer erased Everything I said.

If what ever I said can be fixed so my post shows up that would be great.

RE: Another oil pressure thread
Bottom line
The short and skinny

New rod and main bearings supplied with freshly polished crank by Cummins in Fort Worth
And oil pressure is better than normal.

It is nice that you figured it out. Makes someone wonder how it got that bad to begin with.

Wrong rod and main bearings were used in the original rebuild
