drive axe exchange Is that possible to change drive axles between two peterbilts? My plan is to remove only spring leaf hangers from the frame. Air leaf springs will stay attached to the the axles. No drilling and making holes in the frame needed. both are air ride one low air leaf the other is air trac.

RE: drive axe exchange You also need to make sure you can put the torque rods in the right place. I just cut to u-bolts when I swapped out mine it's a good time to change the bushings when you got it apart. Goes with saying make sure you get alinement when done

RE: drive axe exchange It would also be a good idea to check the power divider, gears or anything else while they are out. Also a good time to address corrosion control. Are they the same gear ratio as what is in the truck now? User's Signature: 2010 T2000, CM871, 13spd, 977k, tanker yanker Overhauled @ 927k
