RE: Turbo upgrade for x15 2350's won't survive long at that power level no matter what turbo you use. The compression ratio is way to high to up the boost any over stock. I'm going to assume X15 is the same as the upped the C.R. Again.

RE: Turbo upgrade for x15 A 500 series holset VG can handle that just fine. Bolting it up may need extensions + CM871 manifold though. Like others have said though... not a good idea to crank your engine up into the redicolous engine life-shortening zones unless you got $40,000 laying around for when the inevitable happens. You'de be far better off with a set of decent rears IF U NEED IT TO "GET UP AND GO" better, rather than torturing the most expensive component in the drive-line (the engine). If you continue to push the subject, you will get kicked off here. I don't promote, not allow the promotion of people doing things that significantly shorten the life of and tearing up their equipment on here. Take that way of thinking back to social medai where it belongs! User's Signature: ->: What I post is just my own thoughts and Opinions! --- I AM Full Of S__T!.

RE: Turbo upgrade for x15 After some consideration I’m changing out the 3:36 rears to 3:70 next week. Hopefully that will help accomplish some of my expectations.

I run 3:42 gears with an 18 speed. You will see a night and day difference with those 3:70 gears. I have that low end split, so I can compensate if I haul something heavy, which is rare. RE: Turbo upgrade for x15 I am at 3:42’s with my 13 speed and I never use use 13th. I am going to be switching to 3:90’s hopefully this fall/winter. With that being done it would be very nice then to split the top hole for driving instead of down shifting. You wont regret going with those 3:70’s even 3.90’s. RE: Turbo upgrade for x15 What's ball park price for changing the gears? I to have 336 with 13 speed, I don't like them. Gets the job done, but could be better. User's Signature: 2015 Kenworth T660
