Aftertreatment 1 Intake NOx Sensor - Abnormal Update Rate

Along with code 3714 SPN 1569 FMI 9

Long story short left truck on around 7-8hrs at night without dialing up the cruise in -30f weather. Came back to truck and got a Power reduced due to SCR on dash. Started driving and got a Engine derate warning, along with check engine light, and SCR system fault or detected.
Manually regened for an hour but that didnt fix anything.

Changed both inlet and outlet NOx sensor but still codes. Found the connecter to the Inlet NOx sensor is a little busted. Changing today to see if it’ll fix the issue.

If that doesnt clear then code - what am I looking at here?
Wiring issue?
Doser valve clogged?
DEF quality went bad - flush old def and put in fresh DEF? (DEF tank was almost full and havent driven truck for 2 weeks with below freezing weather when this started happening)
Blown fuse or battery issue? (day before this battery was shot due to cold so had to charge it to turn on) maybe caused a short or blown fuse there?
Filter or other components got clogged bad now time for a cleaning? (been around 175k since last cleaning)
Any other ideas?

You didn't say what engine your talking about here but I'll assume it's a 2350?? If so then 3232 is no communication between ecm and intake nox sensor on the J1939 network. If you replaced the sensor with a known good one then maybe you have a problem with the harness or that busted up plug (good chance that's your problem)
3714 is just a code that tells you a derate is active because the emissions system isn't operating correctly(because of the no comm)and they want you to fix it immediately.

Possible causes of this fault code include:

The aftertreatment intake NOx sensor is not receiving power from the battery supply circuit in the OEM harness. This can be caused by an open circuit in the power supply wire, malfunctioned NOx sensor fuse, or low voltage supplied by the battery.

Open return circuit on the aftertreatment intake NOx sensor circuit between the battery circuit aftertreatment intake NOx sensor.

Open or short circuit on the J1939 data link circuit between the engine ECM and aftertreatment intake NOx sensor.

Intermittent communications between the aftertreatment intake NOx sensor and the ECM on the J1939 data link

Reference the appropriate OEM wiring diagram when troubleshooting circuits that utilize wiring supplied by the OEM.

For intermittent power supply and datalink communication issues with Aftertreatment Components, it is highly recommended that the OEM Power Distribution Center fuses and relays be thoroughly checked for loose, missing or intermittent connections.

Yep, it was the busted up plug/connector that the intake NOx sensor goes to. Have no idea how it got busted, but something caused it to break/fry. either way solved the issue. It instantly removed the Increased derate and Power reduced due to SCR on the dash. SCR fault detected or altered stayed, but after plugging in and clearing code it was gone. Force regen for about an hour or more and was on my way.
