vacuum coolant refil

Hello, i did my first vacuum coolant refill today. But maybe I did something wrong. My pipe which goes to top of Radiator stayed collapsed after all coolant went in. And only after I added some air into the system it come back to normal shape. What I did wrong?

its fine... but it likely also shows that hose it possibly getting worn out.
