Speedometer cuts out/in intermittently

05 Pete 387 - Cummins isx- zf freedom line auto trans. I have replaced the speed sensor but speedometer/odometer still cuts out. And when the speedometer isn’t working it affects the operation of the auto transmission. After replacing the sensor without results I was going to replace the transmission wiring harness but the harness is not available. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated

Remove, inspect and repair the harness you have. Their are alot of tools available theses days to take apart/ fix/make your own harness if necessary. Remove the loom and carefully feel/ flex small sections at a time. an internal brake will poke thru insulation while doing this

I think there are 2 sensors that read speed on that trans both at the end by the output I think you can switch the wiring from one to the other try that let us know.
