He bought the new ecm plug being the x15 came with the ecm and another friend followed the diagrams to pin it to the truck harness.. everything runs great he had a new program done in ecm because the ecm was looking for after treatment that's not there.. so it runs has throttle all dash light body lights everything. But 0 guage functions. Volts tach temp etc ... trying to figure it out.. pls help ... Thank you

RE: Isx to x15 I talked to this person on the phone... == It would have been FAR LESS HEADACHE AND EFFORT to use the old CM2250 wiring harness, older model turbo, and older ecm on that newer engine, then have a custom program made for the older ecm to run the newer engine, rather then trying to re-wire everything., Regardless at this point, ... = They need to copy the program from the replacement engine ecm, and from the old ecm. Send them both to me for review and to help get the can-buss speeds, other vehicle addresses etc. straightened out. RE: Isx to x15 All too familiar with this process as Rawze helped me with my 2350 (originally a 2250) setup. He's definitely correct on just using the old components to run the newer engine. Knock on wood, my 2350 engine has been run by his 2250 custom program since early 2019, very successfully. On another note, I've also have been seeing a few low mileage (as in sub 250k) X15's out on the interwebs at decent prices... Wonder whats the deal? While I realize that low miles doesn't necessarily compute to lower hours or how it was treated, it still could be a viable for someone who doesn't have 30-40k for a rebuild or the ability to get it to Hagg's in a timely manner.
