That is a pretty cool way to see the light output. And to check lateral alignment.

Yes with drone. It's hard to get a stable shot in the dark but gives a general idea of the beam. I think it'll be neat to get a few different light kits like this from above and compare them.

It's still pretty good, and yeah I agree that this would be a great way to do an "independan test" of several different types for comparison.
I think it's a pretty cool idea and shows a lot just the way you did it. You're high enough to get a good shot of the pattern.

I'd like to see Brocks headlights. I think those are very high quality and have great light output.
