Cummins x15 low boost after delete
Hey guys 2019 w900 had a bad delete in it had it redone by someone I trust and after the delete was redone I chased a 5v low voltage code found it to b the differential pressure sensor mounted on the cans which are gutted but I unplugged sensor and my code was fixed sent truck out over weekend and it returned and drive says it runs smoother but can't get over 21 psi of boost before the delete was redone it would push easy 45 which really bothered me so my question is would un plugging that sensor screw up my boost I wouldn't think so otherwise do u have any ideas for me to start no codes at all but it does sound like a hiss noise from the pass side like a boost leak but I can't find a leak any help would b great I'm down to 3.7mpg on this weekend trip it went out on

A 2019 engine is most likely an X15...
For reference...
Optimum is 32-33 lbs boost at max engine load for an X15. 34~ish is all it can take and above that, it can cause harm. -- Having 45+psi will destroy that engine and cause some serious damage over time. .. and having only a peak of 21 lbs is too low under max operating load.

Did you get back with them to have them adjust the boost levels?... or have a discussion with them to see what might be the issue?.

- Assuming the programming was done correctly for a moment, it very well could be that you had boost issues before, and they were masked by an over-spooling turbo (bad deletes often do this), and now that the turbo is operating in its correct operating range again, boost is now low due to mechanical issues of some sort. It is not unusual for good programming to reveal these types of problems, especially turbo issues, ... however, without the details of the programming.. or the vehicle.. I can only speculate.

Otherwise, if you want the programming reviewed, etc.. then send me a copy of it,.. or get with whoever did the programming and have them send me a copy, and I can review it and see if there is anything in there that would cause lower than normal boost.

What is your engine ser#?. - and- who did the de-mandate corrections?

who the heck is Mackville?...

Copy out and send me a copy of that program for a proper review of what someone did in there.

the diaphram for that intake butterfly should have been removed as part of the de-mandate. Along with hollowing all cans including SCR,. block plate between manifold and egr cooler,.. etc.etc.etc.

I'll try and get the copy over to u and everything else was done except the butterfly is still operating I don't no if he assumed it was done already bit I figured I'd ask u if that could cause my issue by closing but the return spring on it is very strong so I myself assumed it just stayed open
