| cleaning egr Hi to all.I have a 08 isx 871 it has 1.2 million miles on it.I have done egr tune up a few times and just did it a week ago i changed the egr 1 year ago and keept the old one.my question is can i take it apart and just keep cleang them so when i do the egr tune up every year i can put a clean one in. | RE: cleaning egr As long as the valve seals I don't see a problem. When my egr cooler took a dump I had charcoal in it. So I took it apart cleaned it and checked if it seal and it did. So I put it back saved $950 bucks | |||
