2012 Cascadia ISX 450 fan
As soon as I turn on my truck the fans cuts on and stays on! What should I do? Cummins wants 150/hr and I know the problem isn't worth that!

RE: 2012 Cascadia ISX 450 fan
Fix it youself.
Is it disengaged with the key off or at any time at all?
If not, it may just be the clutch is rusted to the hub. Mine does this every time it sits a couple rainy days without being started. Take the backing plates off the hub and pull the clutch disc out. Sand it lightly to get the iron out of it and reinstall.

But 1st check to make sure it has air going to the hub. Turn the key on with out starting the engine. Pull the air line off at the hub and check for air. If you have air than try the 1st thing i said. If not start to diagnose why the fan solenoid isn't supplying air.

Came across a guy one time, his fan stayed engaged all the time. Turned out to be corrosion in the connector to the solenoid.
