Most truck rear ends are only rated for about 76 mph as well. Driving 80+ mph in an 80,000 lb piece of heavy equipment purposefully is insane and dangerous.

Hey Rawze, with EF10063, you had said that 10069 is compatible and that's 600hp but for an RV and Motorcoach. Can you tell me if EF10068 is compatible with EF10063? Same CPL number but just trying to make sure. Thanks in advance

EF10063 and EF10068 are also fully compatible.

only the power, torque, and torque limit curves are slightly are different ... nothing more.

RE: CM2350 factory file comparrisons...
Hey guys I have a friend looking for a power upgrade. He is running a 2021 389 with the ECM code is HD10458. I was wondering if HD10462 was compatible? I believe it is I seen this file in a W900 with the same CPL verified charge ref tables and they match but I am no expert I maybe overlooking something important.

The market category his file is rated for is vocational, but he is hauling highway all the time, should I be looking for a linehaul rated ECM code?

If someone could also explain to me what the differences are between linehaul and vocational files. I was under the impression a vocational ECM code would be for dump trucks and trucks that do city driving often and linehaul was for highway. If this was the case why is there a vocational ECM code inside this truck that was ordered for highway use? Would this have any effect on fuel mileage and DEF usage?

I verified the dataplate and it has the right ECM code, the truck was built with.

Only thing different is the power/torque. They are 100% compatible and have all the same exact settings for their power levels otherwise.

RE: CM2350 factory file comparrisons...
Hello, I have a 2015 T660 with an isx12 2350 all emissions intact. Powerspec shows it has EF10015.38 CPL 3711. EF10028.21 is was parts.cummins shows. Can I turn it up to at least 450hp. Currently it's supposed to be set at 425hp from a Cummins shop calibration. They would not go any higher. Has a 10 speed with 4.33 rears.

Are you sure on those 4:33 gear ratios? Is this T660 a vocational truck, like a dump truck? Just curious, as that number, with that body, seems a bit odd.

It's a sleeper truck. It's a weird setup but that's what it came with from factory. Tags on the diff and tag on the door both say 4.33. I can only run 65 if I want to keep rpms under 1700 rpms. I plan to change them out someday for 3.90 or 3.70s . I get about 9.5 mpg with an empty 57ft drop deck. When I loaded with hay up to 88k lbs at times I get 5.5 to 6 mpg.

...

The Hd10458 = 560hp/1850trq.

The HD10462 = 60hp5/2050trq, all in the bottom end where it shortens engine life the most. I never recommend these engine torturing 2050 files for anyone wanting some decent longevity out of their engine. Besides that, most people say that the 550/1850 programs just pull better any ways.

other than that, they are 100% interchangeable.
