EF10044 = 450HP/1750trq@1800 RPM. Smart torque reduces torque to 1550 after a short bit. EF10074 = 475HP/1650trq@1800RPM. It has NO smart torque and has higher torque from 1500RPM and above compared to EF10044 due to the HP increase but slightly less torque (1650 peak) below that.

I have CPL 3937 400ST not demanded my program is EF10049. I run that I-40 from Arizona to Oklahoma and back. Is there a program that will allow me to pull hills a little better but not kill my fuel mileage?

Program EF10074 is 100% compatible with program EF10049.
