I didn't know this was a thing. Makes sense and I like it.... there's been a few times I roll into town and stop at a store only to have some guy yelling at me that my brake lights aren't working. I tell them yes they are, I just wasn't using the brakes but like Rawze said.... i am stopping.

it is a paccar cab control module update. it can be turned off with esa but it has been mandatory switched on in anything flashed with the last year due to safety. if you dont like it just turn off "engine brake activates brake lights" under external lighting in esa. i personally leave it on.
