Volvo under hood ventilation

I did some trimming to my hood. Similar concept as a freighter hood ventilation. I don't have any data on whether it helps or not but you can feel the hot air escape. You can also see the heat signature if the sun is right. Now let's see if I can post pictures.

I have painted the white fiberglass that I cut black. Now you have to really look to tell it was cut. Doesn't look to hacked in person. I can almost fit my hand in the engine bay through those vents. Major air flow improvement.
