I only could watch the first couple minutes of the video before I had to stop because of the bs. I'd really like to see where they got their info from. Where are they seeing 90% of loads are 500 miles or less because I know when I used to go on the road with my dad the minimum his loads were 500 miles. Also f the truck can go 0-60 in 6 seconds what type of load securement are they going to provide because I can see allot of loads shifting. Also them saying it can hold 60 up a grade but what about going down a electric vehicle doesnt have a engine brake so I see allot of brakes getting cooked. I can see this working for a local truck like other people stated but not OTR its just wouldnt be real cost effictive from what I can see. 50k more for a truck thats limited in range and fuel places just doesnt seem like a good idea. I believe this is the biggest factor in why driver pay has been stagnant or declining. The big carriers are just holding out for not needing drivers at all. Making turnover unimportant It won't be right away, but drivers will be phased out | |||
