it looks like it mostly burns it but it also leaks from the cam cover as well and upon inspection of the exhaust ports you can see oil around the upper part of the port where the valve goes up into the head.

you sure that is not just easily replaceable valve guide seals?

Possibly could be. I looked it has the new style seals. I suppose they could have damaged on when Cummins remaned the head.

What would be the best way to tell if they are bad?
