Looks like a nice job, congrats! Do you live in the RGV or just buy your parts there? I live in Harlingen and have a yard in Donna, Tx and one in Laredo. 2 million miles, wow. Any info on the amsoil program that you mentioned above?

Great info and great pics as well! Yeah the shop has all correct tooling for critical parts. Any thought on an actual “break in” oil, or just Rotella 15-40? My next question would be, would a guy start it out on gear lube regiment, or wait a oil change or two?

I live 30 miles north St Paul,Mn.
I go to the Valley 11 months out of the year.
Amsoil is not the reason for long engine life,they happen to headquartered right up the Road.
They do my samples and I get results in 48 or less .
Engine was inframed before at 500k,

I do have Amsoil Oil bypass system but not for extended oil drains.

Cummins tech says hes working on N14 nonstop.
Guys are buying from salvage yards and when putting together Block deck is too pitted or Counterbores too off...
