Rods & Main bearings & oil pump

Getting ready to tacke this task thisweekend, does anyone know if I can find step by step
Instructions in the cummins book? Done them before on my Cats never in my Isx I hear the oil pump hast ti b shimmed like a pto...Thanks

1. Base Engine
2. Bearing Main, then scroll to the bottom of this page, look for install lubricating oil pump, and click on the link
voila!!!!

Don't forget LOCTITE and 6X6

Hhow55 your tip was very helpful found procedure for main bearings of course printed enough copies for an army ran the printer out of ink & paper got myself yelled at lol snailxpress I know this sounds dumb but what is 6x6? Thanks for your tip btw.

You will get to a point in the Oil Pump Installation where it asks you to find the Letter on the block

Lets zoom in on that


You will probably need a scraper to see it under the crud, look for it here
