looks like it would have problems with stress cracking 2x more than the OEM box does to me.

the frame suffers as much as anything else in the Tri-pak.

You want to protect it properly? -- pull the guts out of it, engine and all , strip then correseal the frame and all the panels, por-15 them, add a few more top coats and put it back together. Replace all the bushings + motor mounts while your at it.

Try these guys, https://www.thermobyproducts.com/category_s/132.htm

I have done business with them for a few years. Check out their pricing for other Tri-Pac parts too, much cheaper than the dealers.

RE: Jemali Tripac APU case
I run salty northern highways and my APU case looked more rusted than any I had ever seen on any other truck. I found a fibreglass case for my Carrier. After 4 years it still looked perfect, but it cracked at the very bottom where the access cover slips onto it. I fabricated a metal bracket and all was good. (I retired that APU for other reasons since)

RE: Jemali Tripac APU case
When they rot they ROT! Mine was still working like a champ, but there was nothing left of the panels, 11 years of service when I swapped her out for the Evolution unit.

RE: Jemali Tripac APU case
thanks my truck came out of Minnesota so the case with all their chemicals is junk and i was pricing thermobyproducts case parts just their lower half of the case is over $400 and i found this for $555 on sale normally $1200 at that price and the relative value of aluminum over steel for rust i find it a good deal.

im going to try them out as far as engine frame that seems to be in good condition after having it all apart this last week replacing alternator/fuel/water filter and finding the issue with the fuel shutoff ground.

the engine had been replaced in 2016 or atleast thats the year of the engine on its data plate and when i bought truck i replaced A/C compressor, Dryer, Expansion valve/some ac lines to dryer.
