I can't say i see anything majorly wrong with that shaft. It has some wear where its been riding loose for some time but i don't see where its tweaked. Im sure it was sloppy.

Are you figuring it was sloppy enough to have the drive shafts out of phase?

Yes. I drove it and the vibration is gone.

Anybody using one of the vibration apps for smartphones? Supposedly uses the sensors in the phone. Will record and show the frequencys. Eaton and some others have charts that can identify various components by their frequency. Wheel ends, drive line, engine etc. Vibsensor from Now Instruments is a free one. Have it but have not figured it out. Low on the list, but not having any vibration issues right now.
