wondering if its possible or if anyone has turned their 870 into a 570 ?
the little bit of info i managed to find out is the fuel solenoids and the turbo
would have to be swapped other wise basically the same...
has anyone done this before any info greatly appreciated
Just program what you have. You’ll like the vg turbo better. The old school turbo is slow to spool and vg is part of the Jake brake.

I'm running 565hp 1850tq right now I have a neighbour with a 2001 w9 with the sig 600 and he's about 10km/hr faster then me on the same hill. I do the the wider power band of the Vgt turbo but I'm living in pei Canada and all the local guys getting the extra junk pulled off are having turbo trouble so the tuning isn't that good here. So this is why I was wanting to change over to a 570 ecm and go that route but not much for info on the net

Hey another maritimer I'm over in NB.

I can almost guarantee the guys having trouble are running DiddleSpit tunes outta montreal, I haven't heard of anybody in the maritimes that can tune an ISX right they're all just resellers of DiddleSpit or J-ball garbage.

A well running 870 puts down some power in stock form I've seen some rebuilt engine dyno's on a couple 565's that were 600hp an 2050tq, even though they're rated at 565/1850.

If your buddy has lower Rear end ratios an tire size then you hes gonna pull better with the same power.
