RE: What is causing screws to loosen on a fuel metering actuator?
screws breaking repeatedly =...

* uneven mounting surface (maybe you are using the wrong type of gasket?. Dirt? OR... There are 2 different types of actuators. Some use a metal flat gasket, others use an o-ring.

* Over-torquing the nscrews when installing. -- USE A TORQUE WRENCH. TORQUE ACCORDING TO QUICKSERV. AND STOP GUESSING!.

* Pressure regulator / pressure relief valve in IFSM is going bad.

* The 6mm bleeder for the injector passage is clogged and fuel is expanding, blowing out the actuator after it expands.

* crud in the actuator dampers in the back of the IFSM.
