SPN 102 FMI 18 CM2350
I have been getting the above code despite changing the IMAP sensor with genuine Cummins sensor, doing a complete EGR tune up and have checked for leaks on both sides of the air charge lines. I am at wits end as truck will run on flat and down hill normally but just the slightest incline puts me down to road hazard speed. What else can be contributing to this code that I am missing? I have been scouring the forum for 2 months trying to find info on this. Thanks in advance

Have you registered your engine on quickserve and followed the troubleshooting trees ?

RE: SPN 102 FMI 18 CM2350
I get for SPN:102,FMI:18 -- cummins fault code 125 -- Intake Manifold 1 Pressure - Data Valid But Below Normal Operating Range - Moderately Severe Level. Intake manifold pressure is below the minimum operating limit.

FIS Wrote:Possible causes of this fault are:

* Leaks in the air intake system between the turbocharger and intake manifold
* A damaged intake manifold pressure sensor
* A damaged barometric pressure sensor
* Restriction in the charge-air cooler
* Leaks or restrictions in the exhaust gas recirculation system plumbing
* Fuel inlet restriction too high (normally caused by a restricted fuel filter)
* Restriction in the air filter
* Restriction in the exhaust system.

* bad intake pressure sensor?
* Check your barro sensor.
* Check the crank case filter to ensure it is not clogging up
* Check the air filter to ensure it is not stuffed up.
* Chack the CAC for restrictions.

* Pressurize the whole engine and look for air leaks.

RE: SPN 102 FMI 18 CM2350
I'm parked at a truck stop now, the last 30 miles had this code. As posted above; runs good on flat and downhill, uphill I'm a road hazard. When I stopped and read the code, I thought duh, I know the boost was low. I was hoping for a code that might help.

Checking for plugged exhaust has me worried. But wouldn't that throw some different code?

This code took a while to come on. First thing that I noticed 10 miles before the code, was a "windy sound", like a slightly cracked open window, and this wasn't gradual, it was instant. Then after a while I noticed the lack of power, and then finally the CEL came on.

I checked all clamps and hoses both sides of the CAC, can't see or feel anything wrong. Checked the air filter, the DAVCO has 1/2 fuel in it, that's where it was this morning pre-trip. Wouldn't fuel pressure throw a different code though? I can't find anything. I might be at the mercy of the Bosselman shop here, as the International up the block is closed tomorrow.

Like the post above: CM2350, factory emissions. Stupid me, I don't have Insite with me.

Looks like Aardvark showed up and disappeared, T660isx, what was your fix?

RE: SPN 102 FMI 18 CM2350
In my case, turbo packed it in. Last time this happened on my cm871 w/@m*m^2 it was quick fix. I hate to think what's involved with this cm2350 and all that oil in the DPF

RE: SPN 102 FMI 18 CM2350
Had that exact code and a leaking type noise a couple of months ago on a 2014 isx15 cm2350. It was the hose between air compressor and intake manifold. It is a rubber hose about 1" id that connects to a tube with a large nut connecting it to manifold. Had to order it as no one had in stock locally. In the meantime I used a 90 elbow and some 1 inch heater or radiator hose and hose clamps.

I was really hoping it was something that simple, but no, my turbo is definitely gone.
