DIY injector cleaning device. What do you think guys about my idea to use the diesel injector nozzle tester filled with cleaning liquid and some sort electronic device producing pulses to open 2250/2350 injectors. At least try to save. http://www.rocken-tech.com/sitebuilder/i...65x212.jpg

RE: DIY injector cleaning device. I guess you would have to balance that idea with the bang for the buck. How often would you do this? Once every 2 or three years? In my opinion it would make more sense to farm it out to someone who can do it faster and has the equipment to do it......as well as the liability insurance to pay for whatever goes wrong.

RE: DIY injector cleaning device. The tester in that photo is for old hydraulic type injectors, not common rail ones. By the time you buy all the gear and set it up, it'd be far more cost effective to just have your injectors cleaned & tested by a specialist.
