RE: Wind!!
From what I'm getting for rates and what I've heard from van/ref pullers my open air is paying double to tripple van freight at the cost of having to break a sweat instead of smash a dock or bump trailer hitches. Granted I smashed one dock this year so they could push an industrial chiller/AC unit onto the trailer....that was an experience.

RE: Wind!!
Getting around 5.7-6 on last 3 tanks. 5k on o/h at haggs. Pneumatic at 90k 2lane Iowa Nebraska stop and go every 10 miles and a little bit of i29 to KC and back loaded both ways. Plus 2-4 hours a day PTO/blower time witch I have found to be a killer on avg. Have had about 1200 miles of little wind so curious to see what this tank Will be. It should only get better from here after she's totally broke in.
