@m*m^2 for Non-VGT 870 and 871
I have been looking over the @m*m^2 document for the cm871 egr delete and found it extremely useful.
Could someone specify what would change this process if the engine used was a cm871 with a non vgt turbo and a cm870 with a non vgt turbo?
I realize I won't have some parameters for the non-vgt ecms in Calterm, but if there is anything else I'd need to specifically know please share.
Thanks in advance!

Oh boy... The mm is built around the VGT, why would you want to run an old school Holset? You will lose HP, torque and fuel economy. If you have a butchered motor with an old style Holset on it, get the right turbo and return the motor to OEM specs first, including the ECM.

Believe me I am all for keeping the VGT and am aware of the downside of downgrading to Non-VGT, but some customers already did this before coming to me and will need to stay with the non-vgt setup. The 870 though comes with the old school turbo, so I'd like to know the difference that egr delete will have from 871 vgt. Thanks

Wtf? The CM870 does not come with an"old school turbo"

Someone correct me if I am wrong but I am pretty damn sure it's still a vgt turbo but it's just air actuated. (Possibility it's a vnt, I cant remember)

If I am right, you need to stop working on "Customers" trucks until you actually know what your doing my man.

I am not arguing about what the engine comes and doesn’t come with. I am working with 870s and 871s without vgts but with old school turbos with the nom vgt exhaust manifolds and would like to know if anyone had tried to apply the @m*m^2 egr delete techniques to a non vgt.
