Overshot's Blog
It's been a month since my tune up. My 30 day average since then is 6.47. Prior to the tune up it was 5.88.
Pulls pretty good. But usually have to back out of it on longer pulls, due to exhaust temp(I don't let it go above 840 degrees).

is that with the fan on? mine stays in the 600's with the fan on. Before I got my fan switch wired in I hit 910 on cabbage...needless to say I dropped a gear and lessened the strain on the motor.

No. But I'll try that next time. I haven't been on any long pulls like cabbage or needles.

What oil brand are you running? That base seems a little low in my opinion, but it may be a brand that started low.

Wow, Iron is only 11 and you have 17k miles on the sample. Very impressive, as most oil samples iron would have been expected to be 17 or more by that mileage.

Base number looks too low for this mileage. I run delvac 15w40 and my base number is about 7 at this mileage. Also its only 952 of zinc ? Delo supposo to have more atleast zinc 1200 ppm.

All the oil makers have been reducing zinc levels these days. Mr.Epa has been throwing a fit ab out it.
