Diesel particulate trap 1 psi codes
Working on 2013 Kenworth t800 isx15 of course.

These trucks idle a ton, we work in the oil field, so 90% of time the trucks idle, normally get 3-4 loads of oil. Takes about 1 hour to load/unload. These trucks have direct drive ptos. The trucks here are lucky to see anywhere from 75-200 miles in a shift, 300 miles if the wells are spread out

I will edit this post and share pictures of the insite codes related to this truck, we have another truck pretty much doing same thing.

We had egr coolers pretty much go out on every 2012/2013 truck we have.

This particular truck had a egr cooler go out, another mechanic replaced the cooler, removed doc and cleaned it out in house and sent the dpf to get cleaned. Buttoned that end up, replaced the turbo since it had the famous "turbo cough" during regens.

Anytime I do a egr cooler or dpf related work I remove every sensor related to the egr side, removed and replaced the imap, egr differential psi sensor and replaced the turbo back psi sensor, I cleaned the rest of sensors with carb cleaner.

The dozer injector was replaced, im not sure when exactly but it has been replaced, in thinking I need to remove it from truck and visually verify its not plugged up

Drivers say this truck keeps asking for regen, sometimes 3 times in a shift. For some reason the truck keeps thinking the dpf filter is plugged up, and I know its not because the filter was just cleaned by kenworth. When I try and do forced computer regen, it keeps throwing the diesel particulate trap 1 pressure code because the dpf gets over the 1252° temp I believe it is, so it throws that code and will not finish a regen because of this code.

I can verify that the soot load is .o ounce, not sure why its doing this.

I found a exhaust leak, fixed it, still nothing.

I will post pictures of screen shots of insite.

We have had a few diff techs look at it. Recently one guy replaced the scr outlet nox sensor and differential psi sensor.

We get lots of differential pressure codes with this truck. This has been on going for quite some time now../uploads/201606/post_1653_1467212203_ed0db0cc09c6324e55dd0ea44bdfc689.jpg./uploads/201606/post_1653_1467212203_ed0db0cc09c6324e55dd0ea44bdfc689.jpg

Kill the mandate. There is no other real solution to trucks that Have High pto usage.

M M 2 -- all the way and never look back.

PM rawze with your number. He knows the best ways to get it done.

I also run oilfield and rawze made a comment to me the other day that got me thinking. he said "can't you change your pto?"

I guess I sure as shi#t could. change the pto gearing and run my truck at a high rpm. normally I run at 800rpm loading and base idle unloading with direct drive. thinking of changing it so I'm revin 1100 or more so it creates enough heat and especially to ensure the motor doesn't slobber.... cause that would be the killer.

RE: Diesel particulate trap 1 psi codes
We run our trucks at 1100rpm and stil have issues with certain trucks.

We run 42 trucks so doing deletes on these trucks will not go over with coporate.

Crazy, we have alot of sister trucks, just or or two numbers off on the vin, some trucks rarely have issues other "problematic" trucks have lower miles because we cant keep them out of the shop

Here is the aftertreatment log history of this truck:

RE: Diesel particulate trap 1 psi codes
Do you guys see anything alarming with the aftertreatment history?

1274 and 1271 is pretty high temps, what normally causes this issue?

Im going to do a forced regen and I will update with screen shots of regen

First picture is start of Regen, then about 5-8 mins later another picture of what changed in that time frame

So same issues. I watched it get up to temp and throw that same code.
