yup. and i had the pleasure of being on the side of I-70 in MO at 5pm with no way to fix it myself. roadside repair, new compressor, an hour travel each way to get the parts from Kansas City, labor and I insisted on draining and replacing all the coolant (even though i only lost about a gallon). yup great way to spend $3400.

In hindsight, if i had the parts or tools, i probably could have dried the fitting off and used some jb weld. Or might have been able to open up the head and tap new threads for a larger fitting. but roadside with no useful tools... That was when I went searching and found this forum.
