2350 Fuel Pump Rebuild Parts

At Rawze's direction I am going to rebuild the fuel pump on my 2350. It's setting north of 300k miles since it took down the engine back at 245k or so, which was before I owned the truck.

Can someone who has done this please take a look at the parts lists I came up with off of quick serve and perhaps confirm that these are correct and is there anything else I need to replace while I'm in there?

If there's anyone who may have a better source on pricing, please let me know. The total on these is about $440. Rush Truck here in Dallas is over $500 for the same items NOT including the gasket which they don't even have.

2250 and 2350 barrels and plungers do not interchange. Off the top of my head i think the barrel/plungers you have there are for 2250 not 2350. I would have to verify.

did my cm2250 pump update 650000 ago, got all worried and took it apart this weekend,tapets and cam were in like new shape, one plunger would not return as in the cummins video so I had to replace the head at 1200.00 but it came with the barrels and plungers . I was lucky this time mileage and all and wont go that far again without rebuild for sure , oh and by the way I did even though the rollers were in amazing shape , replace them anyways , good insurance for sure

You can still buy Barrels, but plungers(they go into a pump head) are not available. Maybe you can buy those somewhere under the table, but no dealer or Cummins shop cares them separately. Whole pump head has to be replaced.
And ,yes do not try to install plungers from 2250 on 2350 pump head, you will have fuel in your oil pan. A lot of fuel...

That would be great if you could. I put my engine # into quickserve and one place it gives that number I showed above then again in another location it gives me 2872226. So yes I'm wildly confused.

i literally had a fight with cummins over this as they swore that you couldnt interchange the 2250 and 2350 stuff. It sure does and fuel runs right past the external threads and o-ring and fills the pan full of fuel REAL FAST. i made them get a pump head and thread them in infront of us.

Cummins bought a engine that day.....

I believe these to be the part numbers you need. I would verify before purchase and installing.

I spoke with Cummins and the numbers for the 2350 are correct.

He also told me that it's only certain engines that the rebuild is NOT available. Thankfully my engine all rebuild parts are available.

So the total would be $407 + Tax which ends up being almost $100 less than buying from those jack-offs at Rush Truck.
