RE: Code 4726
On the same topic, I had two codes just pop up. One is 1139 injector solenoid driver cylinder 1 mechanical system not responding or out of adjustment.. fault code 4727 injector metering rail pressure data valid but above normal operating range. Least severe. Checked oil and it wasn't above a quarter. Check it everyday , so it dumped it quick. No visible signs of leaking outside engine nor in coolant. Running super rough while idling.

We need a video on these caps and lines... I want to see this, having the 871 I have no exposure to any of this.

(09-10-2020 )Mr Hagg Wrote:  Ok so we remove banjo bolt and take a place a bolt the same size as the banjo bolt and use washers and the ones that come off the banjo bolt tighten it up and then start truck see if you see ANY fuel dripping out its bad... Then with insight run up fuel pressure through the fuel pressure leak down test... Onces it reaches 29000 turn truck off and see if its leaking. If not then you will need to start capping off injectors one at a time. A few times I have found the injector connecting tube is the problem may have worked loosed or what ever. So before I throw a $1000 injector at it, I will inspect connector tube and clean and reinstall and torque to spec.... And try again... If that dont work then replace injector + a new connector tube. NOTE: the caps can be bought from any cummins dealer.. I have all 6 so you can cap off as many as needed....

A video of this would be extremely helpful. I don't really understand the bolt in place of the banjo bolt thing.

RE: Code 4726
the bolt has no holes like the banjo bolt so it allows 0 fuel to flow into the return. therefore the only place to bleed pressure is the injector connector pipes and injectors.
