New diag tool time
Started getting a rough idle on the 2350 so ran cylinder cut out and nothing noticeable so went on to fuel leak down test and low and behold 5k psi in 1 minute. So now gotta find if it's an injector or regulator which requires tools I don't have yet. When I first got truck bout 50k ago would only loose maybe 500psi in 10 min.

RE: New diag tool time
nah the deadhead tubes for the injectors and whatever size bolt i need to replace the banjo bolt with to deadhead things one at a time. granted if i find more than 2 injectors goofed ill probably just replace all 6. i almost need to spend more money to beat uncle sam this year i dont have 50k in repairs this year and my profit margins looking a little fat. according to my taxes last year i lost 11 grand between depreciation of truck trailer and all my deductions. according to my bank account though it was a nice year and this year is looking way to good and then next year i plan on building a 42x100 shop and 42x25 shouse so then ill have that for deductions next year as long as the election goes the right way.

this t680 has been good to me went from the lonestar throwing IFTAs of 4.6-4.8MPG to this last 1/4 that was all T680 and threw a 6.66.

so went from being profitable at 4.6 to basically 6.6 making the same money its been great.

I wish someone would make a video of this so I could understand it better.

RE: New diag tool time
fuel pump goes to the rail. rail has lines going to each injector replace 1 line at a time going to injectors with a deadhead line and redo leak test no leak means thats the injector thats leaking if still leaking move on to next injector if leak never stops then start plugging off all injectors at once execpt 1 untill it does then start working towards which ones are and arent leaking by pressuring 1 injector at a time.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Cummins-TESTER-...Swsq1cbHrg this is the tool for blocking the injector lines...and you need atleast 5 on a real bad injector day.

Keep searching for a better price than that Arkansas Valley seller. They have access to a lot of stuff thats hard to find but they make you pay a hefty price for everything. They have no bargains.

I feel your pain my lonestar was pulling 4.7-4.8 on a compliant 2350. it was recently low 6's for a while after a proper tune until another injector started leaking again but it's still in the high 5's. I would do all six at once but Cummins hit me for $1800 for one cm2350 injector last time
