the older style is more reliable. That new style has been known to crack and slip at the top joint.

You sure you want to put that on the truck? I think it would look better on the coffee table in the living room... ;-)

Huh, I would have thought the new style was better.

RE: RIP CM2250, 2013, 800,000km 20,000 hrs
As you folks know, I live in Canada, so i'm fully mandated, and am trying to abide by the law here and keep this system on. I now have a brand new SCR as part of the campagin, the decomp tube was clean, and i got the stealership to run a doser pressure test for me (inline 6 is arriving anywhere between March 15 and May 15). I still get the following codes coming on intermittently for the aftertreatment system:

1. SPN 4363 FMI 3 - SCR outlet temp voltage above normal
2. SPN 4360 FMI 3 - SCR intake temp voltage above normal
3. SPN 4334 FMI 18 - DEF Doser absolute pressure low

I'm just starting to get my hand opened up with working on these, and without insite i'm a bit blind. I've got an exhaust leak on the outlet side of the aftertreatment injector exhaust pipe, so will be replacing that. But these codes keeping coming on and off intermittently. Going through quickserve, on all of these codes one of the comments at the bottom is to look at the OEM fuses/relays. Here's a photo of the one on the engine (the one in the cab didn't seem to have anything useful related to this), any tips on how to check these or which ones to replace related to the above?

Try disconnecting the battery for a half an hour, that may clear them out. Also, the fuses, they tarnish, and need to be replaced periodically, even if they do test out ok. That is where I would start.

might want to also go thru the fuse panels and replace all fuses that have gotten tarnished. They can cause voltage issues and ghost problems.

I have seen that solve many a problem with trucks.

Replaced all the fuses. Truck derated to 1100 rpm today. Have a mech coming
To clear the codes. Anything else to do on insite to check these codes. Got the following

5246 0 scr operator inducement severity
3362 31 def fluid lines
Water in fuel indicator keeps coming on and off with high voltage
And then scr intake and outtake temp voltage above normal.

RE: RIP CM2250, 2013, 800,000km 20,000 hrs
is the battery voltage normal?-- It is spiking to 16+ volts going down the roads? -- or only when it rains? -- Seen bad alternator cause voltage spikes when it gets wet and throw over-voltage codes like that before.

is the ecm putting out more than +5 volts to those sensors? -- any short between the +5 volts sensor supplies and the +12 volt system?
