Check engine light goes on/off sometimes for awhile sometimes for a few minutes. Got code 197 and have changed sensor on reseveroir but still throws code. Water levels are good when i check.

Friend of my me had this issue. Come to find out the coolant had formed a coating over the contacts so it would read erroneously.

Never mind, just re-read you changed the sensor

Check your ecm plugs to make sure they're not loose. I have seen them vibrate the retaining screw out enough to make some terminal contact intermittently.

So yea i wrote i changed sensor but it was quite some time ago. Recently checking plug to sensor there was a little water in plug and contacts did have some kind of build up on them. So should i change sensor again cuz i dont think its supposed to be wet in there? And after a new sensor is put in and ecm plugs checked and those turn out fine any other other things to check?
