changing wire harness on chasis volvo vnl Hello, something snapped yesterday under my truck and I have all wiring, air hoses and fuel hoses around my driveline. Have removed it and figured so far that. fuel lines are cut at the end of transmission. At the end of the cab all wires attached to the frame are cut.( All wires and air hoses).so all is good at axles. No hoses at air dryer. Air tanks cables are all good. It is 2006 volvo vnl. Will have a quote from the repair shop tomorrow on the repair. Any suggetions on repair costs. Assume need all new fuel lines. Reconnecting air hoses. Put new wiring under the cab and chassis probably. Any thoughts? All is missing at the end of transmission to end of cab.

RE: changing wire harness on chasis volvo vnl That's more than scary. How about a picture and a little investigation on what could be the cause? It will be very helpful so we know what to look for to prevent such disasters.

RE: changing wire harness on chasis volvo vnl That is a disaster. Maybe you can find a wreck to cannibalize. You can never use too many tie wraps! User's Signature: 2010 386 Pete CM871, 13 spd. 3.55

RE: changing wire harness on chasis volvo vnl Inspect those abs modules. Yanking the plugs off like that driveshaft did can break the plastic tabs that keep the plug locked in.

RE: changing wire harness on chasis volvo vnl Best thing you can do is either find a wreck and buy the wiring loom or , expensive, buy the genuine loom, rewiring is mostly a disaster waiting to happen

RE: changing wire harness on chasis volvo vnl That is a lot of damage, and it looks from the pictures that you are going to have several secondary failures in the future over it. User's Signature: ->: What I post is just my own thoughts and Opinions! --- I AM Full Of S__T!.
