I have no comment about aftermarket internals for CAT.. but you likely already know what I think about using them for the red engines... which is not good.

Compression was reduced from the acerts 18:1 to 16:1 same as 6nz. alot of folks say the aftermarket internals are actually better than CAT. We did learn afterwards that many buildiers advise against the {AFTERMARKET} gaskets. But all 6 cylinders... less than 5 loaded miles and less than 1k bobtail miles.
