Egr temp high isx 15

Hi folks
2013 isx 600 Cm2250. Stock.

Have fc 2962 for high egr temp. I plugged in insite and even when truck is off it is showing 600 deg egr temp. Exhaust gas temp varying between 80-250 once on. Is this likely a sensor issue because of that data being stuck at 600 deg for egr temp. I believe the fc comes in after 480 deg.

If it is just a sensor, I’ve got a cm2350 that’s been de mandated from the recommended list on this forum, can I just swap the sensors? It’s the long weekend here in Canada and I won’t be able to get a new one. Ie. is the sensor on the demandated 2350 isx 550 the same and no longer needed on the 2350 so I can swap it to the 2250?

Swapping the sensors worked flawlessly for now. I can only imagine if I didn’t have insite, would’ve cost me 600 easy dollars at Cummins or even a local mechanic, plus driver wages etc. Now it cost me 30 minutes of time.
